Directions to Hilton Head Island Check-In
These are our directions to Hilton Head Island and the Hilton Head Guest Services Welcome Center.
From Interstate 95, take South Carolina Exit 8 onto Highway 278 heading east towards Hilton Head Island. Follow the signs. From I-95 proceed on Highway 278 East for approximately 25 miles to reach the only bridge onto the Island. You will pass by several outlet malls and golf courses on the way. Once you reach the Island, stay on Highway 278 Business (right lane). Do not take the Toll Bridge (left lane). Continue approximately 9 miles on Highway 278 to the Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove intersection. The Fresh Market Shoppes is 1 mile on the right past this intersection. The Check–In Center is located at on the opposite end from the Fresh Market Grocery Store.
Please check-in here to receive your hotel voucher, tour information, and gift package. You must notify the Check–In Center in advance if you anticipate arriving after 4:00 PM. Check–In Registration is held daily 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Access to Hotels and Villas begins at 4:00 PM daily.
